Transportation

Public transit

If you want to use city busses or the métro subway system, we recommend getting the “Opus” card 3-day, All modes A which includes the trip for the 747 from the airport.

Also, you can download the TransitApp on your mobile device to view the transit schedules and plan your trips accordingly.

Bixi

Bixi is a bike rental service which costs $1.35 per trip or $22 for a monthly subscription. There are Bixi stations all around the city and bike lanes conveniently located to facilitate your travels by bike.

Car

Parking spaces are limited around the Casa d’Italia, so plan your trip accordingly if traveling by car! You can also pay your parking meter through the P$ mobile service mobile app.

Housing

Because of local restrictions, there are no hotels in the MTL BAL JAM neighborhood. As such, you may consider other neighborhoods closer to downtown if you want to rent a room or a hostel. However, you can look on housing websites such as couchsurfing.

Visit the event’s Facebook page to find the pinned post about housing to see what the offer is within the community.
